Getting ready for your spray tan

• Exfoliate your entire body before the application with an exfoliating mitt, loafer or damp face washer. Pay close attention to rough areas like knees, elbows ankles and the tops of your toes.
• Do not apply any moisturiser, deodorant or make up after exfoliating.
• Wear loose dark clothing to the tanning appointment. A brief g-string is highly recommended.

Looking after your spray tan

• Lisa will ensure your tan is dry after the treatment and will advise you on your minimum developing time and when it is best to have a shower.
• When showering, you may notice some colour washing off you. Don’t be concerned as this is part of the tanning process.
• A short and warm shower is recommended followed by patting yourself dry with a towel then MOISTURISE, MOISTURISE, MOISTURISE.
• Other considerations in maintaining a great looking tan are to avoid long baths, hot spas and extended swimming sessions. Chlorinated pools are a definite no no! Also avoid using products that are designed to exfoliate your skin.
• Moisturising extends the life of the tan as well as preventing it from looking streaky and blotchy on the skin.
